  Features

  • Breathable mesh lining for optimal body climate
  • Stretch cuffs at arm endings
  • Width adjustment in jacket hem with elastic drawstring
  • 2 inside pockets in fixed mesh lining and 1 small battery pocket
  • Long connecting zipper

  Application

  • For best results, it is recommended to wear functional underwear made of synthetic materials with good moisture wicking properties

  Installation/operation

  • Jacket is compatible with Montevideo-Air 2.0 jacket
  • Connecting the control box with the cable of the HYDRO_BOT system in the jacket
  • Inserting the control box into the designated pocket in the jacket
  • Charging the control box with the USB charging cable. A red light flashes during the charging process. The battery lasts 16 hours under normal conditions.
  • Start the system by pressing the button on the control box
  • 1 x press: steady green light, the system is on
  • Press 2 x: flashing green light, the system is in standby. In standby mode the HYDRO_BOT system can be activated and deactivated
  • To switch off, press the button for 3 seconds. A red light flashes briefly and the system is switched off

  Care/Cleaning

  • Before washing, the control box must be removed from the jacket
  • Please wash by hand or separately at 30° C with low rotation (max. 500) or completely without spinning
  • Do not tumble dry and do not iron

  Purpose/Function

  • HYDRO_BOT is the first active moisture transporting membrane that transports moisture and vapor from the inside to the outside by electro-osmosis. This was developed and tested in professional laboratories in cooperation with the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (EMPA)
  • The HYDRO_BOT fabric electronically transports moisture as needed, independent of external factors such as temperature and humidity, with direct electronic control of the direction and amount of transport. The membrane is equipped with trillions of pores/m2. When the elements receive a small, electrical impulse, moisture is transported away from the body at high speed through the pores to the outside of the jacket. This process is called electro-osmosis. The HYDRO_BOT insert is strategically positioned in the most sweat-intensive areas on the back

  Attention

  • Wearing a backpack may reduce the functionality of the system
  • Therefore a backpack with ventilation system is recommended
  • The material of the HYDRO_BOT system itself does not have a high water column. It works like a water pump, not like a water barrier.
