  The SRL-EXT provides both Mesh Intercom™ and traditional 4-way Bluetooth intercom. Sena's industry-leading Mesh Intercom™ communication platform has two modes: Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom™ (Open Mesh) and Group Mesh Intercom™.

  Open Mesh enables connection to the Mesh Intercom™ network with a single button press and offers the industry's first Mesh Intercom™ channel system. Like traditional handheld or CB radios, Open Mesh allows users to switch between nine channels. It also supports a virtually unlimited number of users within a range of up to 8 km (minimum 6 subscribers at 1 km distance).

  Group Mesh supports a single, private group for up to 24 participants and the same range as Open Mesh for a more personal group conversation. Only invited users can join the Group Mesh chat. Open Mesh and Group Mesh provide unprecedented intercom audio quality and robust connectivity.

  The SRL-EXT is the perfect communication system for the SHOEI NXR2. The shape of its two modules is adapted to the lateral contour of this helmet model. Together with the NXR2, it meets the requirements of the ECE-R 22.06 test standard.
