  A new Five design made for urban use (as its name indicates), the Urban WP opts for a long, sleek cuff, to offer its rider maximum protection that can be worn either over or underneath your jacket’s sleeve. Here we present its weatherproof version, featuring a 5_Drytech™ membrane that allows you to use it when it rains.

  Compared to short gloves, the Urban WP’s style confers a certain elegance and classic look. You’ll also feel truly safe, due to its topside one-piece PVC shell underneath the leather, along with its many other protective elements.

  The accordion gusset on the wristband, coupled with a Velcro® adjustment tab, makes it easy to slip on and adjust to your hand. And finally, the Urban WP features the Touch Screen™ system, which allows you to activate your GPS or smartphone screens. It’s so practical not to have to take off your glove to make a call or find your way through the urban jungle.

  5_Drytech™

  Weatherproof / breathable and windproof membrane developed by Five specifically for two-wheeled vehicles. Allows perspiration to evaporate, while it stops raindrops from getting into the glove. Attached to the external structure and the lining of the glove with adhesive strips, so that it really stays put.

  Lycra®

  A synthetic fiber with elastic properties. Five uses it in the areas that require perfect elasticity, such as finger contours ot the wrist opening.

  PVC

  Polyvinyl chloride. A highly stable plastic material that exists in rigid or flexible forms.

  Palm reinforcement

  Leather, fabric, or PU Grip elements that are designed to enhance the comfort of the glove on the palm side, its grip, and its chafe resistance.

  Touch Screen™

  The inclusion of elements that allow for the handling ot touchscreens without removing your glove. It is most often found on the index or the index finger and thumb, depending on the particular style of glove. (A Five brand name)

  TPR

  Thermo-Propylene Rubber. A material that can be molded or extruded above its melting point. Used as a decorative or protective element on our gloves.

  Velcro®

  A contact closure system using tiny hooks and textile loops, commonly known as 'scratch' in French.

  WP

  Weatherproof. A glove that features a waterproof, breathable membrane and can be used in the rain, because it keeps hands dry.
