Created for the most demanding adventure riders, SPIDI 3L Shell features SPIDI proprietary STEP-IN ARMOR technology.
VISION LIGHT includes an armor and a Hard Shell that you can that you can wear combined or as stand-alone jackets. (The pictures show different possible combinations)
The fully laminated H2OUT® shell achieves high waterproofness and breathability levels thanks to a high resistance 3-layer polyamide fabric including a membrane that achieves high levels of resistance to condensation, water resistance (10k) and breathability (10k).
Pockets and air vents feature YKK® AquaGuard®, the water repellent zipper created by laminating PU on the backside of a coil zipper. The 8 inches-long air vents located between torso and arms guarantee direct air circulation in the warmest part of the body, elevating comfort level even in the hottest climates.
These performances are combined with an extreme lightness: the result is a comfortable shell ideal to resist to natural elements, while the inner armor stays perfectly adherent to the body.
Armor is made with high tenacity polyester mesh combined with elasticized fabric areas, providing great ventilation and transpiration in every condition. The Base-1 Armor has certification to the Pr En 17092-3:2017 Class C/U standard, and it comes with Level 1 protectors in the shoulders and elbows, that are certified to the EN 1621-1:2012 standard.
VISION LIGHT insulation level can be upgrade connecting it to MISSION SOFTSHELL, the thermal layer featuring STEP-INARMOR technology.
Spidi reinvented the three-layer jacket with STEP-IN ARMOR, a new technology that places the protective layer close to the body. Safe but extremely lightweight, the STEP-IN ARMOR technology offers riders everything they need – protection, soft-shell and hard-shell – in a single garment.
