  This is Nolan’s top-of-the-range flip up helmet.

  It is characterized by its elegant design, its many technical features and the wide range of colours and graphics available.

  Its compact size (thanks to the availability of two outer shell sizes), double P/J homologation, an ultrawide visor, VPS sun screen (adjustable in various positions and fitted with the automatic retraction system), AirBooster Technology upper ventilation system, rotation of the chin-guard with elliptical motion, exclusive double-action chin-guard opening mechanism, double lever Microlock² retention system with micrometric adjustment, innovative Clima Comfort inner comfort padding (with micro-perforated fabrics and adjustable neck-roll) and set up for the N-Com communication system are all reasons why the N100-5 is very-much-appreciated by the most demanding of motorbike tourists.

  P/J Homologation

  The helmet can be used either with the chin guard open (J configuration) or closed (P configuration), as the protective chin guard has passed the homologation tests required by UN/ECE regulations for full-face helmets.

  Ultrawide visor

  The large surface of the S/R (Scratch Resistant) visor makes it possible to have a broader view, also lateral, thus highly increasing active safety.

  Pinlock® Fog-Resistant inner visor

  Thanks to the patented adjusting system, the stretch of the Pinlock® inner visor can be adjusted, acting from the exterior of the visor, without the necessity of removing. The Full Silicone Border (FSB), adopted under licence from Pinlock®, allows first of all for an increase in the size of the air chamber located between the helmet exterior and interior, thus further reducing the risk of fogging; secondly, it reduces the risk of scratches to the visor.

  Dunkel-getöntes* VPS-Innenvisier mit UV 400-Schutz

  Chin guard rotation with elliptical trajectory

  The chin guard rotation movement with elliptical trajectory makes it possible to keep the total size of the helmet’s front section to a minimum, when the chin guard is open. The “sail” effect is consequently highly reduced and riding comfort is still guaranteed, even when the chin guard is lifted.

  Dual Action (patented)

  Exclusive DUAL ACTION chin guard opening system. Positioned in the center of the chin guard, it allows for easy, one-handed opening. The dual action opening mechanism reduces the risk of accidental opening: the chin guard can be opened only operating the first release lever (or safety lock) and then activating the second lever.

  Airbooster technology

  The exclusive “AirBooster Technology” upper system ensures optimal ventilation where the rider’s head most requires: the air is extracted from the upper air intake and forced into the most critical areas, avoiding any dispersion, to guarantee maximum comfort also in extreme riding conditions.

  Moreover, the ventilation system features:

  • a chin guard air intake - this allows ventilation at mouth level and directs air straight to the visor, limiting fogging
  • a rear extractor - integrated in a rear spoiler, it allows for the expulsion of hot, stale air

  Microlock² (patented)

  Availability according to the product version. It is a patented double lever retention system with micrometric adjustment. It consists of a thermoplastic ergonomic opening lever, and of a second aluminium toothed and holding lever. The toothed lever releases the micrometric strip, thus the chin strap can only be open with a very broad rotation of the opening lever. This device minimizes the possibility of unintentional opening of the retention system.

  “Clima Comfort” inner padding

  The inner comfort padding is designed to offer both the typical lightness of a jet helmet and the close fit of a full-face helmet. The chin straps integrated into the liner (which are therefore removable and washable), favor the helmet’s fit as well as its wearability.

  Polystyrene lining for the inner cheek pads

  The helmet has an innovative molded polystyrene lining for the internal cheek pads which allows for a more precise fitting of the cheek pads and provides the product with a quality finish.

  Single-Piece cheek pads

  The internal padding in expanded foam for the cheek pads has been designed in order to provide superior even pressure and consistent performance over time compared to traditional padding. It can also be removed from its fabric coverings in order to make washing of the latter easier.

  Set up for N-COM communication system

  The helmet is ready and approved with the N-Com communication system installed. The system allowing for the installation and the compatible N-Com product itself, have both been designed with the aim of facilitating the assembly of the system

  SHARP – THE HELMET SAFETY SCHEME

  Nolangroup proudly underlines that all of its products - Nolan, X-lite and Grex - tested by SHARP, the prominent independent test system run by the British Government, have obtained at least four stars.

  Furthermore, all “flip-up” helmets have received the highest possible rating in terms of chin guard latch reliability. This means that, for each of the products tested by SHARP, the chin guard remains completely closed during each of the 30 impacts.
