  Just like the jacket of the same name, the Poseidon 3 GTX pants will keep you protected from the elements. Made of two- and three-layer GORE-TEX laminated to the outer material, they withstand wind, rain and splashing water. This membrane has almost magical properties. It is lightweight and resistant to cuts and tears. It's also breathable, windproof and 100 percent waterproof. That means you'll be warm, dry and protected on any adventure, no matter the season.

  A removable, stowable thermal liner makes the pants suitable for year-round use without being bulky or too heavy. On-demand ventilation is easy to adjust with VCS|Aquadefence - just open to let air in and close when the weather gets uncomfortable. FidLock® magnetic closures combine locking strength with easy one-handed operation.

  Safe places

  These pants not only provide protection from the elements, but also from injury with SEEFLEX Level 2 knee and breathable, flexible SEESMART Level 1 hip protectors. Sure-Grip texture in the seat area keeps you from slipping at this key contact point in extreme weather conditions. Double zippers keep the pants and thermal lining attached to the jacket for secure year-round comfort and all-around protection.

  GORE-TEX® membrane

  The GORE-TEX® membrane is the essential element of all GORE-TEX®  garment. It contains over 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These pores are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. This makes the GORE-TEX®  membrane completely waterproof from the outside, while allowing perspiration to escape from the inside. An oleophobic, or oil-hating, substance is integrated into the membrane, preventing the penetration of such compounds as body oils and insect repellent, which could otherwise affect the membrane.

  VCS|aquadefence

  When opened, the aquadefence system allows direct ventilation to the body. When the zipper or panel is closed, it presses onto the incorporated rain gutter, the jacket is then 100% wind- and waterproof.  When the panel or zipper is closed, the rain gutter will stop the water from entering via the ventilation holes, thereby keeping you dry and comfortable.   Certified Level 2 according to the new norm EN1621-1:2012 the SEEFLEX™ protector is the latest innovation from the REV’IT! R&D department. The new norm also tests the impact levels in various temperature ranges. The SEEFLEX™ protectors easily surpass the new norm without sacrificing wearer comfort.
